One of the steers had escaped and had prompted calls to Hart DC . With the help of a dog walker who had experience with cattle, we got him back in. Hart's ranger turned up then. No signs of fence failure seen but the gate has had a notice about cattle on it while there were no actual cattle in there and people get casual about closing the gate perhaps? All well.
